![]() Did the usual thing, check all the fuses, check battery, unplug battery, search the internet for hours and finding nothing. Was hoping to manually power supply to the unit in a lab but it seems that I cannot do that either. The only way to verify if the unit is busted or not is to plug it in into a different car.Seriously, I am not impressed of having a busted radio. It is one of those things that should not break! Will monitor this thread in hopes that somebody knows of a solution. I have another car i will plug my radio into, but the harness is getting power in my car. So not much of a reason to test in another.i did call VW of North America for assistance with a replacement. The gentleman i spoke with, Jason, was extremely courteous and sympathetic to my issue but i was not successful with that. My 4 year old radio should not fail prematurely. I was reminded multiple times of the mileage limitation on the warranty and i quickly stepped in to let them know that a radio is not a mechanical part, and mileage should hold no merit on their decision to offer assistance.im hesitant to tear down the radio because even if i find a burn on the board, i wont be able to repair it.im seeking a replacement since i refuse to go aftermarket, but it looks like we are in the same boat here. #BOSCH HIGHLINE FIRMWARE UPDATE UPDATE#.
