Here are a few:Īnd it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:9-11).Īnd may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints (1 Thessalonians 3:12-13). So I prefer to wear clothes that make the occasional spill or scuff less noticeable.įour times since December 30, my Daily Light on the Daily Path devotional book, compiled from Scripture by Samuel Bagster, has had readings about being blameless. But eventually they turn gray or yellowish. I can wash white clothes, with varying degrees of success. I invariably spill food or find scuffs and stains from unknown sources that speckle my white garment. I can’t wear white until I get to heaven.Īt least, I can’t wear white without frustration.
